Darrin most recently served as Chief Operations Officer for TTI Technologies in NYC.TTI the hospitality industry’s leading provider of ID/Passport Scanners, Business Centers, In-Room Tablets, Concierge Services, and other hotel technology solutions. He participated in the growth and awareness within the Hospitality Industry relevant to large brands and independent hotel owners, operators, and developers by helping with the presenting, planning, and execution of the overall TTI Technologies solutions.

Prior to this, Darrin served as the Chief Technology Officer for Highgate Hotels and was responsible for Global IT. Highgate owned, operated, and managed over 60+ independent & branded hotel properties, making up 15,000+ guest rooms throughout the United States and Europe, but primarily centralized in NYC.

A 25+ year veteran of the hospitality industry, Darrin previously served as Vice President, Information Technology for Benchmark Hospitality International (BHI), President for DP & Associates Hospitality Technology Consultants, Vice President and Hospitality Technology for Ginn Resorts, where he leveraged his experience and expertise including enterprise IT; strategic planning, budgeting/forecasting, purchasing, staffing, outsourcing, vendor partner management, contract negotiations, network security, governance and compliance, operational support, managed services, acquisition due diligence, systems deployment, and maintenance and support.

Darrin has over 100+ properties that he’s personally been involved in for the ground-up development and facilitating all the various technology solutions that were required to build, develop, implement, and open new branded state of the art technology hotels, mixed-use hotels with added residential owner’s units and resort private club membership aspects. Many, being the first of their kind within the hospitality industry; Hershey Hotels & Resorts, Boca Resorts Yacht & Beach Club, Naples Bay Resort, Universal Orlando’s Portofino Bay/Hard Rock & Royal Pacific Resorts, Numerous Ginn Resorts in FL, SC, NC, CO, VT. Darrin is a certified hospitality technology professional (CHTP) with the Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals Association (HFTP); where he served as a member of the HITEC advisory council, HFTP global international Board of Directors. He also served on the AH&LA Technology & ecommerce committee and was a past Chairman of this committee and as an Editorial Advisory Board member of Hospitality Technology magazine. Darrin currently serves as an IT advisory board member for the University of Delaware.
